Over the years, I have guided thousands of travelers across Europe, and I created this guide so you can explore Prague as if you were walking with a friend who knows every viewpoint, legend, alley and traditional dish.
Day 1 – Old Town, Charles Bridge and Malá Strana
You will start in the Old Town Square, admire the Astronomical Clock, walk through medieval alleys, explore the Jewish Quarter and cross the iconic Charles Bridge. On the other side of the river, you will discover the romantic streets of Malá Strana, Baroque churches and hidden gardens with beautiful city views.
Day 2 – Prague Castle, panoramic views and historic neighborhoods
The second day focuses on the Castle District, including Saint Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, Golden Lane and scenic terraces overlooking the city. You will then explore quiet residential streets, lesser-known churches, viewpoints along the castle walls and riverside paths that lead back toward the center.
Along the way, you will learn stories about Bohemian kings, astronomical legends, secret alchemists, Mozart’s connection to Prague, and the city’s role under the Habsburg Empire and during more recent history.
You will also find suggestions on where to enjoy Czech specialties such as goulash, svíčková, trdelník, local beers and traditional pastries.

Built in the 13th century, this is the oldest functioning synagogue in Europe. Famous for its unique Gothic style and legends related to the Golem of Prague.

A masterpiece of Moorish Revival architecture, decorated with golden geometric patterns and vibrant colours. One of the most beautiful synagogues in Europe.

8) Prague’s Old Town

One of Europe’s largest historical complexes. The Baroque library hall inside is a stunning treasure, often described as one of the most beautiful libraries in the world.

Designed by Frank Gehry, this modern building contrasts beautifully with Prague’s historic architecture. Nicknamed “Fred and Ginger,” it’s one of the symbols of contemporary Prague.
12) Old Town Bridge Tower
One of the most impressive Gothic towers in Europe, marking the entrance to Charles Bridge. A perfect starting point for your walk.

The most iconic bridge in Prague! Decorated with statues and full of life from morning to night, it connects the Old Town with Malá Strana. Its views are unforgettable.
14) Kampa Island
A quiet corner of the city with canals, nature and charming houses. Known as the “Venice of Prague,” it’s perfect for a relaxing stroll.
15) Grand Prior’s Mill
A picturesque mill on the Čertovka canal — one of the most photographed spots in Prague.
16) John Lennon Wall
A symbol of peace and freedom. Since the 1980s, this colourful wall has been constantly repainted with messages, quotes and drawings inspired by John Lennon.

A curious and intriguing museum dedicated to Franz Kafka, Prague’s most enigmatic writer. Perfect for fans of literature and surrealism.
MALÁ STRANA
17) Nerudova Street
One of the most charming streets in Prague, lined with Baroque houses and decorative signs. Historically the main route to the castle.
18) Hradčany District
This area surrounds Prague Castle and is filled with palaces, monasteries and breathtaking viewpoints.
19) Prague Castle
A UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the largest ancient castles in the world. Inside you’ll find St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace and gorgeous courtyards.
20) Golden Lane
A magical street of tiny, colourful houses. Legend says alchemists once worked here… but the truth is just as fascinating.
21) Petřín Hill
A peaceful green hill with beautiful gardens, scenic paths and a small Eiffel-Tower-like lookout. One of the best viewpoints in Prague.
