1) Palazzo Civico
The Palazzo Civico is the official seat of the Municipality of Cagliari, located in the lower part of the Stampace district along Via Roma. With its elegant façade and seaside position, it’s a great place to start exploring the city!
2) Bastion Saint Remy
One of the most iconic landmarks of Cagliari! The Saint Remy Bastion connects the districts of Villanova and Castello and offers one of the most scenic terraces in the city. Its name comes from the Baron of Saint Remy, the first Piedmontese viceroy. Get ready for a wonderful view!
3) Torre dell’Elefante
Built in 1307, this medieval tower is one of Cagliari’s most famous symbols. On the south side, you’ll notice a tiny stone elephant — yes, that’s where the name comes from! A fun detail you can’t miss.
4) Cattedrale di Santa Cecilia
One of the most important religious buildings in the whole island. The Cathedral of Santa Cecilia impresses with its monumental façade and rich interior. Let’s explore its long history and a few curiosities!
5) Chiesa di Santa Restituta
This ancient chapel is one of the oldest places of worship in Cagliari. Located beneath the modern church of the same name, it hides centuries of fascinating stories carved right into the rock.
6) Tower of San Pancrazio
Completed in 1305, the Tower of San Pancrazio dominates the northern side of the Castello district. With its limestone walls, 36-meter height and strategic position over 100 meters above sea level, it served as an essential defensive point against attacks from both sea and inland.
7) Mercato San Benedetto
One of the largest covered markets in Italy and a true paradise for food lovers! If you’re searching for local specialties, fresh fish, cheeses or Sardinian products, this is *the* place to be.
8) Roman Amphitheatre of Cagliari
Dating back to the late 2nd century AD, this amphitheatre is set in a natural valley at the foot of Buon Cammino hill. A fascinating example of Roman engineering surrounded by a beautiful panorama.

At the beginning of every digital guide you will find a map that will show you the itinerary! However, you don’t need to use that one! Before every attraction / monuments included in the tour you will find a button that connects you to google map. You just press that button and you are done! Once you get to your destination you can go back to the digital guide and read/listen everything!
