1) Piazza San Carlo
Welcome to one of Turin’s most elegant squares! Piazza San Carlo is known as the city’s “living room” and is famous for its beautiful symmetry and iconic “Twin Churches.” A perfect place to start exploring Turin’s refined atmosphere.
2) Piazza Carignano
Before reaching the grand Piazza Castello, we stop in this historic square home to Palazzo Carignano—one of the most impressive Baroque palaces in Italy. It also hosts the National Museum of the Italian Risorgimento, a must for history lovers.
3) Piazza Castello
The beating heart of aristocratic life during the Savoy kingdom! Piazza Castello remains the central hub of the city, framed by elegant porticoes and surrounded by Turin’s most important streets: Via Roma, Via Garibaldi (famous for affordable shopping), and Via Po, which leads to the river.
4) Royal Palace of Turin (Palazzo Reale)
A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Turin’s most important buildings. Originally a bishop’s residence, it was redesigned in the 16th century when Turin became the capital of the Savoy Duchy. Its interiors are breathtaking. Ticket: €15 (not included).
5) Palazzo Madama
Also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this palace stands on what was once the Roman Porta Decumana. After the fall of the Western Roman Empire, it became a fortress, and today it houses the Civic Museum of Ancient Art. Ticket: €10 (not included).
6) Church of San Lorenzo (Real Chiesa di San Lorenzo)
A lovely Baroque church with fascinating stories and a stunning dome that’s part of Turin’s skyline. Its architecture hides clever symbolic elements and curious details—it’s full of surprises!
7) Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist (Cattedrale di San Giovanni Battista)
The only Renaissance church in Turin! Built between 1491 and 1498, it later gained a special chapel designed to house the Holy Shroud. Its bell tower, slightly older, adds charm to this peaceful spot.
8) Mole Antonelliana
Tall, spectacular, and absolutely iconic. The Mole Antonelliana is the symbol of Turin and home to the National Cinema Museum. Its history is full of twists, and seeing it up close is always impressive. Tickets start from €10 (not included).
9) Piazza Vittorio Veneto
One of the largest squares in Europe—over 38,000 square meters! Created in the early 19th century during the city’s expansion toward the Po River, it was originally dedicated to King Vittorio Emanuele I before being renamed after WWI.
10) Church of the Gran Madre di Dio
Standing proudly at the end of the bridge, this imposing church was built to celebrate the return of King Vittorio Emanuele I after Napoleon’s defeat. It’s surrounded by legends and mysterious stories that make it even more intriguing.

At the beginning of every digital guide you will find a map that will show you the itinerary! However, you don’t need to use that one! Before every attraction / monuments included in the tour you will find a button that connects you to google map. You just press that button and you are done! Once you get to your destination you can go back to the digital guide and read/listen everything!
