1) Agrigento Cathedral
Dedicated to San Gerlando, patron saint of the city, this cathedral has roots that date back to the 11th century, during the Norman domination of Sicily. Its elevated position offers a stunning view over the city — and its history is full of fascinating episodes.
2) Scalinata degli Artisti
Built in 2017, the Artists’ Staircase is one of the most colourful and creative spots in Agrigento. Thanks to its vibrant decorations and installations, this staircase has become a true open-air artwork and is considered one of the sixteen most colourful stairways in the world.
3) Church of Santo Spirito
Part of the Cistercian Monastery founded in the 13th century by the noblewoman Marchisia Prefoglio, this church preserves beautiful Gothic elements and a charming rose window. A peaceful and historic corner of the old town.
4) Porta di Ponte (Mokrito)
Dating back to the 9th century, Porta di Ponte was the main entrance to Agrigento. Once equipped with a drawbridge and crowned by a Gothic arch, it welcomed visitors entering Via Atenea, the historic heart of the city.
5) Belvedere Arancio
One of the most scenic viewpoints in Agrigento! Also known as Belvedere Kolymbethra, it overlooks the Valley of the Temples and the coastline. A perfect spot for unforgettable photos and a moment of quiet above the city.
6) Archaeological Museum “Pietro Griffo”
One of Sicily’s most important archaeological museums. Here you’ll discover the long history of ancient Akragas through statues, ceramics, inscriptions and extraordinary finds that reconstruct the life of the Greek colony.
7) Valley of the Temples
A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s most extraordinary archaeological parks. The temples of the ancient Greek city — especially the Temple of Concordia and the Temple of Juno — are among the best-preserved in the Mediterranean. A must-visit when in Agrigento!
8) Garden of Kolymbethra
A 6-hectare botanical treasure inside the Valley of the Temples. This lush garden is filled with citrus trees, olive groves, almond trees and Mediterranean vegetation, offering a peaceful green escape in one of the world’s most iconic archaeological settings.

Before every attraction / monuments included in the tour you will find a button that connects you to google map. You just press that button and you are done! Once you get to your destination you can go back to the digital guide and read/listen everything!
