Our tour begins in the beautiful Piazza Duomo — the true heart of Trento since Roman and medieval times. Surrounded by elegant historic buildings and just a short walk from the train station, it’s the perfect place to start discovering the city!
2) Cathedral of San Vigilio
A striking cathedral dedicated to Trento’s patron saint, St. Vigilius, whose tomb lies right beneath the church. Built in the 11th century and enhanced over the centuries, the Duomo showcases a mix of Gothic and Baroque elements. A must-see landmark with centuries of history.
3) Via Belenzani
One of Trento’s most charming streets! Frescoed façades, small artisan shops and a peaceful atmosphere make this road perfect for a relaxing stroll — even better if you’ve just finished lunch and want to enjoy the city’s authentic vibe.
4) Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore
Welcome to Santa Maria Maggiore Square! Here stands the basilica where we’ll explore its beauty and talk about the historic Council of Trent — one of the most important events in the history of the Catholic Church.
5) Buonconsiglio Castle
One of the jewels of Trentino! The Buonconsiglio Castle was the residence of the Prince-Bishops starting in 1255 and is now a fascinating museum full of art, history and incredible architecture. A monumental symbol of Trento’s past.

At the beginning of every digital guide you will find a map that will show you the itinerary! However, you don’t need to use that one! Before every attraction / monuments included in the tour you will find a button that connects you to google map. You just press that button and you are done! Once you get to your destination you can go back to the digital guide and read/listen everything!
